The Weedon Goose

 

Camping on site.

Consent has been given by the Parish Council to use the recreation area at the back of the Hall for overnight camping.  Access to the usual conveniences and facilities in the Hall will therefore be available for those who wish to camp there. It is planned that the kitchen in the hall can also be used for the preparation of breakfast for those who say there.

Camper Vans

Whilst the access into the car park in front of the Hall is a little steep, it is accessible for camper vans, and consent has also been given for a few to be parked over night in the area in front of the Hall.  Access for vehicles behind the Hall is not possible.

Spacious pitches - all 16A electric - heated toilet blocks - acres of space - many picnic tables.
The site has a separate 4 acre camping field for tents - some hook-ups.

The 1/2 mile entrance driveway ensures peace and privacy.
4 miles of wide grass walks within the 84 acre farm, along the ¼ mile stretch of river and through the woods - much appreciated by dog owners. Pick-up bags and bins are provided.

Within the site there is a Grade II listed barn, dovecotes, rabbits and much other wildlife, an idyllic atmosphere in which to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Oxfordshire Countryside.

No static vans on-site. No facilities for children.
Excellent TV reception, free Internet access, Information Centre and Payphones.

An 18 hole Golf course is adjacent to the site.
